The first issue of the Aviv monthly came to light in March 1992. The main themes that the newspaper covers are:

• Jewish Famous People

Traditionally Aviv works in co–operation with talented and famous authors.

The editorial office works closely with the Union of Belarusian Jewish Organizations and communities and the AJJDC Representation Office in Belarus, Sochnut and Israeli culture and information center.
