Table of talks “Development of Programs on Informal Education in Youth Summer Camps” was held in Minsk on the initiative of the “Belarus Federation of UNESCO Clubs”.

Minsk Hillel is a recognized authority in the sphere of informal education in Belarus. That's why representatives of the organization were invited to the meeting.

Maxim Udin who is a director of the Jewish Student Organization “Beit Hillel” gave a report on the topic “National Component in Programs of Children and Youth Camps and Seminars”. In his speech Maxim Udin told about successful work of Minsk Hillel concerning organization of camps, seminars, expeditions for young people. A presentation on history of World and Belarus Hillel, as well as on main areas of Hillel work was made within the framework of his report. A special attention was paid to symbolism in informal education which in our case is manifested through Jewish self–consciousness.

Many participants of the meeting got interested in the work of Minsk Student Organization “Hillel” and expressed their willingness to co–operate with Hillel in different spheres. At present Hillel collaborates with Minsk institutes of higher education and it is planned that in future students will undergo practical training in the sphere of social work, cultural entertainment, etc.
