«Thia» Studio Present Famous People' Works
 Each Wednesday «Thia» Studia opens doors of Minsk Jewish Campus to let out diversified and rich world of Jewish and Belarusian culture. More than 150 of its participants headed by only one woman in charge — Liudmila Dorofeeva, together generate a professional, fascinating and worth being proud of brainstorming team. In September «Thia» generously offered quite a fascinating and capturing program: Mr. Ales Kamotsky — poet and composer — presented his new concert program; Israeli guest Mr. Grigory Trestman — poet, public figure and assistant to Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Liberman held his evening. This time Mr. Trestman was invited to «Thia» for the second time already; this time he read out his old poems that are mostly adored by the listeners, and also presented his new works and extracts from the rune. Moreover, Grigory answered numerous questions of the listeners mainly redarding politics and life in Israel. Educatees of one of Minsk gymnasiums also had a chance to present their project: they prepared Power Point Presentation about the Trostenets concentration camp, a musical composition and a video meterials on «Holocaust Lessons». The video is based on a previously compiled scientific paper «Challenges of Existential Choice in the Context of Holocaust»; the paper itself was awarded with the second grade at International Youth Conference «First Steps Into Science» and with second degree diploma of Second Belarusian Contest «Holocaust. History. Tolerance Lessons» dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Minsk ghetto liquidation.

Named after Friedrich Engels, Karl Marx’s pal and accomplice in their abortive attempts to overthrow the reign of misappropriated surplus value, he still mourns the USSR and blames those who emigrate for a better living in Israel, in the USA or, even worse, in Germany.
